CONSTITUTION OF LFI

GOVERNANCE FRAMEWORK & STATUTES

Article 1: Name and Jurisdiction

The name of the association shall be "Legball Federation of India" (LFI). It is the supreme governing body for the sport of Legball in the Republic of India.

Its jurisdiction extends to all the States and Union Territories of India. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of sportsmanship and national unity.

Article 2: Aims and Objectives

To promote, encourage, and control the sport of Legball in India. To organize National, Zonal, and State championships and ensure high standards of technical excellence.

To coordinate with the International Legball Federation (ILF) and other national sports bodies for the development of the game.

Article 3: Membership & Affiliation

Membership shall be open to State Legball Associations and Union Territory Associations that subscribe to the objects of the LFI and agree to abide by its constitution.

The Executive Committee has the power to grant, suspend, or terminate the affiliation of any member unit based on performance and adherence to rules.

Article 4: The General Body & Elections

The General Body shall consist of representatives from affiliated state units. Elections for the office bearers shall be held every four years in accordance with the National Sports Development Code of India.

Article 5: Code of Ethics

LFI maintains a strict 'Zero Tolerance' policy towards any form of discrimination, harassment, or doping. All players and officials must adhere to the WADA/NADA anti-doping regulations.
